English Civil War shoot

Part of our C17th reconstructions for ZigZag Productions in January 2006 was the preparation of food, both high class for the officers and gentry, and the simple fayre on offer to the soldiers, here being coked by camp followers. in addition to learning and demonstrating military skills of the time, Zig Zag's two presenters sampled life in the roles of officer and ordinary pikeman, showing how life experience was sharply divided by wealth and social position.

Our specialist extras brought with them all the skills needed to accurately recreate a slice of C17th life, with button perfect period clothing, excellent military skills, and crucially, the right attitude for working within film productions.
